How long does therapy last?
Sessions last for fifty minutes each week. I offer open-ended therapy but we can discuss a fixed number of sessions if you prefer. We will discuss how counselling is helping and review our work on a regular basis.
Is counselling confidential?
All sessions are conducted in strictest confidence.
Confidentiality may only be broken in the following circumstances:

Where you give consent to break confidentiality.

Where there is serious risk of harm to you or others.

Where I am required by law.
The practice is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
All client data is managed in accordance with GDPR legislation.
Where do you see clients?
We meet face-to-face at The Well, 89 Institute Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14 7EU.
What does therapy cost?
Individual sessions are charged at £40 for daytime appointments and £50 after 6pm and at weekends.
How do I pay for therapy?
You will be issued with an invoice for each session.
What is your professional membership?
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and practice under their Ethical and Professional Code.
